OUR TECHNOLOGY

X-Nav

X-NAV

The X-Nav is a revolutionary technology that allows for implants to be placed with extreme precision.  It is a live-time navigating device to assist Dr. Mondlick in placing implants into the proper position and angulation to allow for crowns to be made for the implant to fit seamlessly with the other teeth in the mouth.

It is like GPS for implants.

PerioLase MVP7 University White Android.

PerioLase MVP-7 for LANAP

The PerioLase MVP-7 is a very specialized laser used for Periodontal Gum Surgery and the LANAP procedure.  It is the ONLY laser that has been FDA cleared for periodontal regeneration, and we have it at Mondlick Perio!

This laser operates at a specific wavelength that attacks the bacteria that contributes to gum disease while leaving healthy tissue intact.

Post-surgical recession and tooth sensitivity, which can be significant following traditional gum surgery, are also greatly reduced.  There is no cutting, suturing, and much less discomfort than traditional gum sugery.

Penguin 2

Penguin Implant Stability Monitor

The Penguin is a dental implant stability monitor for monitoring osseointegration of dental implants.  It provides accurate, reliable measurement of dental implant stability when the implant is placed and when it is time for a crown to be made on the implant.

ICat

Cone Beam CT/3D Imaging

This technology allows for visualization in 3-Dimensions.  A scan is taken to determine bone height, width, volume, quality, density, and quantity.

It can also be used to plan implant placement in computer software.  That plan can then be sent to a lab to create a surgical template, which assists with placing implants in the ideal position.

Mectron

Piezo Surgery

Piezosurgery is a process that utilizes Piezoelectricity, or specific vibrations, in the application of cutting bone.

This machine allows for bone to be cut while leaving gum tissue untouched.  Certain procedures that Dr. Mondlick performs, including sinus lifts, are enhanced and safer with the use of this technology.

i500

Digital Intraoral Scanning

The Medit i500 is a digital intraoral scanner.  This technology eliminates the need for traditional impression material (i.e. Goop) to get an accurate impression of the mouth.

The 3D image can be printed on a 3D Printer and/or surgical guides made from these scans.

Bio Centrifuge

Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF)

Leukocyte-Platelet Rich Fibrin (L-PRF) is an exciting technology that can speed and improve the healing process after periodontal and implant surgery.

L-PRF comes from the patient's own blood.  Similar to giving blood for a blood test, Dr. Mondlick will draw between 8-32cc of the patient's blood.  The blood is placed in a specialized centrifuge that separates the red blood cells from the platelets.  The platelet concentrate can be formed into a membrane, plug, or mixed with bone graft to enhance healing.

Air Flow

Glycine Air Polisher

Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) is Air polishing with glycine, an extremely fine powder, gently yet effectively cleans the surfaces of teeth and implants below the gum tissue.  The use of this device eliminates bacteria which can adhere to these surfaces creating inflammation.

Removal of this bacterial biofilm creates a healthy oral environment aiding in the prevention of bone loss around teeth and implants.

Criticare

Sedation Dentistry

We recognize that some of out patients may feel anxious or apprehensive about receiving periodontal, cleaning or implant treatment.  For that reason, we are able to deliver treatmet under different forms of sedation in the office.
